Can I use my 24V fleetguard filters in my '93 `12V ??

Can I use my 24V fleetguard filters in my '93 `12V ??
I have a recently aquired a 12V, 1993. I have a 98 24VALVE, and would rather put the 24V filters in the 12V if I can, cause I don't want to have to have 2 cases of filters clogging up my limited space.
I have read somewhere that the 24V has much more oil pressure, so I am worried that the filter may hold pressure down on a 12V (I have read that the 12V had lower oil pressure and a different filter.).
