California Truck?

California Truck?

Bought my truck in SW AZ and was wonedering if someone could enlighten me on how to identify my truck as a California truck or not. Hopefully the later of the two. Thanks

If it is a CA engine it will have EGR plumbing running across the top of the engine (from exh. man. to the EGR valve on the intake plenum) If that has been removed and 49 state exh. man. and intake installed...then the CPL# 1863 will confirm it to be a CA engine.

An engine data plate with this information is located on the driver side of the timing gear case. Among other things, this plate has the date of manufacture, the CLP, the engine serial number, and the timing specification.
