California 5.9L 215HP?
My 98 12v is a 215 HP
It came to California by a guy in the Armed Forces,
then it was sold out of state.
I brought it back to California.
It has an EPA tag that I was told allows it to be registered in California,
and the Cummins plate right below says B 5.9 215 engine
Does this mean my truck has had some EPA alterations or?

It can be registered in cal but it does not have an egr on it if it did and was built in cal it is a 180 if it is marked 215 HP then it was sold outside of cal when it was new. The last 215 121v sold in cal was Dec 1995 as of Jan 1996 all 12v sold in Cal were 180 Hp in Dodge.

Mine was manufactured Dec 10, 1997.
The CPL plate says Model
B5.9-215
EPA 48?(kinda hard to read)
It was manufactured outside of CA, and I have to look to see if there is an EGR in place, but I'm hoping not
Even if its not, the Air Horn would still be the one with the tiny hole, right?
