Was the CAD an option on some models? my boss's 24v doesnt have one and ive seen posts here and there where a few guys are wanting to install hubs on their front axle. i thot it was standard on all 4x4 2nd gen rams but evidently not

 

In 2002 they started using a live axle. It wasn't an option, just a transition.
