Burining oil from Turbo?

Burining oil from Turbo?
I was wondering if it is possible for the turbo to allow oil into the intake tract and could that be a source of blue gray smoke pouring out of the exhaust. It is more than likely bad rings but I was just wondering if it was a possiblity. There appears to be oil staining around the turbo halves and the motor in question only has about 160k. The motor in question is actually a Isuzu 4bd2t from an NPR truck but I thought I would ask here since the theory could still apply. Thanks, Don

Isuzu shot probablly. Most die with a hole in block.
Yes turbo can leak either side. Generally find oil in tubing to engine, especially low spot. Exhaust side generally nasty with carbon build.

Thanks I will check the intake tubing for signs of oil. The motor starts and runs fine it just is pouring blue gray smoke like a typical motor with bad rings. With only 160k I am questioning if the motor can be worn out but if the turbo is leaking into intake then that juat might need to be rebuilt/resealed.
