broken injector return line

Hey everyone,

First I'll say hello as the proud new owner of a 95 4wd 3/4 ton 5spd. For what I paid for it I basically stole it, and unfortunately, I got what I paid for. I've been picking up the loose ends, but I've run into a problem that i can't fix.

My injector return line is broken just behind the #3 injector. I've done some searching and I have no idea where on earth to find a replacement... Any ideas?

the quickest place would be the dealer, or local diesel shop could set you up. or call cummins direct if there in your area. stop in at a good junk yard, good luck!

Also, Ebay usually has some. Brand new from Cummins might also not be bad. They used the 5.9 on Tractors also, I believe IH, so if you are in farm country.........

The dealer will sell you an updated line just because your problem is fairly common.

What I've done a few times for people who don't want to spend the money is remove the steel line then install a banjo bolt by barbed hose fitting on the injection pump then run hose instead. Removing the steel line isn't easy, I've been tempted to use a sawzall.
Best to run the hose all the way to the tank to avoid future problems.

My local Denver Cummins dealer shows it in stock and it's not even expensive! This is why I bought a Cummins...

And for future reference: Part number 3926103
