Breakoff screw size?

anyone now off hand what size the breakoff screw is on a p7100? I'm goit to open up the '95 I just got. but I'd like to have a new set of screws on hand before I do. Is there 4 on top + a 5th behind somewhere I heard.

The screw size is 6mm x 20mm length.

I never take out that 5th one, when I remove the top 4 screws, I push the shut off solenoid toward the driver fender, it will pivot on that 5th bolt and give enough clearance to remove the afc housing.

Pitch is 1mm. Good call on the 5th bolt. I loosened the one on my 12v, and it has since relocated itself to some stretch of one highway or another. Also double check they are tight occasionally. Mine worked loose. Found out the hard way, 2 were barely hanging on, two had disappeared completely. Nice little puddle under it.

The fifth screw is 6x1.0x40 mm. If yoy remove the solenoid check the spacer on the lower mount is still attached. Mine had broke the spot weld and I had a good time finding it.

Don't over tighten those tiny screws. Just a nice even snug all the way around and they (usually) stay tight.

Bosch uses thread lock on most of the hardware when they assembly and that fools some into thinking the torque is high.

I've put about a half million miles on mine without any screw in the upper left hole. Makes it easier to remove the top and change the fuel plate setting.
