Brake hose
Brake hose
Had my front brakes checked and was told I need the front left hose replaced. This hose is $114 from the dealer here and I would really like to be able to get it somewhere else as I know it will be cheaper. There are also 5 different ones that show for this year truck(95). How can I figure out which one I need and where would be a good place to look for it?
It's either gonna be 2 wheel ABS or 4 wheel ABS. Call the dealer if you don't know, they can check your VIN. Next, there is a bracket/bolt assembly that it may or may not have. The autozone guy checked the truck for me since I wasn't sure what the bracket looked like and he had neither in stock for comparision. Finally, just buy one at a auto parts store like napa, advance auto, autozone, etc..
I think they had the drivers side for my 96 listed for 38 bucks or so?

Try Napa, almost $100 cheaper; http://www.napaonline.com/masterpage...d=3&SubCatId=8
Depends on wheelbase and fitting type.

So you have a Napa in your area ?
I go to the parts house's that service the repair shops , they usally know more about there job .
usally you have 3 in most , 2 in the ft. between caliper and line on frame ,
then 1 at the r. axail line on frame to a 3 way brass on the differarential .
the others may 4x4 , 2500 , ect .
the dealer seems to almost always be much higher .
