passenger side front brake hose

My truck has rubbed the pass side front brake hose through for the second time now. I'm running BFG MTs in 255/85R16 on the stock steel wheels and the hose rubs on the tire flank when steering full lock to the right.
The first hose with the same wear pattern did burst on the brake test stand while getting a technical inspection and this one now did not burst (yet) but it's quite thin. It has lasted about 3 years IIRC.
I'd suggest that taking a look once in a while can be quite beneficial. The rubbed spot on mine is almost on the highest point of the hose when the steering is centered.
I'm curious whether this does happen on other trucks too and want to suggest checking it because brakes should be there when you need them.
