Brake and ABS lights on during low idle?

Both my brake and abs lights come on whenever im in traffic at slow speeds (walking speed) I also notice my pedal is firm at the same time, is it a low vaccume warning or something more? my idle is set at 400rpm

Yes, there is a low vacuum switch and it sounds like that is what is triggering your warning lights. Usually there is a leak that causes this, but in your case I think it is due to your low idle. You must experience a lot of stalling when you put it in gear etc. Anyway, the spec is 800 RPM in drive and I think if you bumped your idle up to that, your problem would go away.

it has the factory converter, dosnt ever stall even when driven hard. Cold mornings it idles at 300rpm so i keep my foot on it until things warm up. I love the low idle, but im sure I will have to adjust it up when I get my new low stall goerend converter

Even with a low idle the light shouldn't come on unless you have a leak.
