Bosses truck dies constantly

Well, I drove it one day and had to do some backing. So I pulled forward into a driveway. When I applied the brakes and tried to turn the wheel it died. Then I started it and put it in reverse to back up and it died. He just had tranny work done recently. I'm not sure what all was done. The shop that did it screwed up the first time and he had no 4 wheel drive. The next time he took it in they got him 4 high, but no 4 low. I think he needs to park that thing up the tranny shops @** until they fix it right. You might be right. There could be too much resistance causing it to bogg down. If that was they case why would it idle fine to warm up. It seems to me it only dies like that after driving it.

Thanks for the link to Dodgeram.org. The idle adjustment was a breeze and did the trick.

Why would the idle adjustment affect the tranny performance on a 94? Is there a computer on this model? If there is a TPS wouldn't that work with the tranny?
This truck totally impressed me today. We tugged and tugged on this old International dump truck with 10' plow blade. Mind you the driveway was icy which meant traction problems too, but this thing was dragging that truck around even when the air brakes locked up. What a work horse!

Same idea as letting out on the clutch on a manual without giving a little fuel, engine stalls.
