boost gauge

boost gauge

does anyone have an idea on how to install a boost gauge on a 95 12 v ???

To install a boost gauge, you pull a plug in the intake manifold and run a line to the gauge. Most gauges also are lit so you need to find the correct wire on the back of your headlight switch to tap power off of.

I got my isspro gauges from diesel manor and they came with really good instructions. The boost gauge was the easiest of the gauges to install.

alright thanks i got my gauges from western diesel they have good instructions too ..lol i was just getting someon elses opinion so is it to the right or left of the intake manifold

Are you sure youre not talking about a Pyrometer (Exhaust Gas Temperature Guage). A pyrometer probe is installed in the exhaust manifold.

You mean where the plug is? The plug you want to remove is on the intake manifold, right behind the injector pump. This thread shows a picture of the plug:

buy a boost bolt, put it in, connect your line and run it to the cab and you are pretty much done.
