blowby hose

my question is where exactly does it come out? how hard is it to put it back on?
mine had it but i noticed the other day that its not there anymore. i dont know where it went..
does it matter if i drive without it?

I'd check and see how and why it came off - also, you'll have quite the messy engine and sensors without it.

Vent hose is attached to a breather on the block side cover. It is behind and below the fuel filter housing. The hose is poly and gets hard with age. You will probably need to remove the starter to see it from below.
It will only spew on the starter and make a mess of things. When you replace it, either route away from the tranny cooler lines or cut it short. Plastic will eat the steel lines.
