Question Baselines?

Fellow cummins owners,

What are the base numbers for a 96 Ram 2500 CTD? Hp and TQ? and with that question, What exactly did come with the banks power pack system for that year? I have the old style chrome emblems on my truck so i know its an older system, (still hauls my skinny buns tho.. ) With the plate set back a smidgen (due to stock clutch goin in) lets suppose it was centered, What numbers should I be putting down? or similar so to say with the banks power pack? Thanks for your time and effort...

If I'm not mistaken the Power Pack adds 45-60 hp and comes with
• K&N air filter
• TwinRam intake manifold
• Cam plate
• 16cm turbo housing with Banks wastegate actuator
• low-restriction muffler
• 3.5" tailpipe
• pyro & boost gauge

Seems to me that about sums up what it has in it,

I was kinda disappointed, I thought id be closer to 285-300 hp total, if it adds 45-60 horses, im assuming the tq would be bounced up to about 100-200 ft lbs more? its a rough estimate, but i guess im gonna dyno this thing, and start buying some other mods for it, my goal is about 300 horse and 750+ tq, think its feasable?

300-700 is easy, I just did 288-669 with stock turbo+ injectors. Get a new clutch and change your goal to 400-900 you will able to do it with no problem just a little more money.

I thought the Power Pack added like 125 hp --- Something like 297 dyno horses and just under 700 ft lb. (at least that's what Banks claims )

Your power figures are EASY to hit, but I have no idea how close I am to mine. (which is 400-450 hp, 1000+ tq, I really could care less about the hp, as long as I can hit 1000+ tq )

CRAP! I was thinking for my '95.

Those numbers will be a "bit" off for the Power Pack!

But Banks does "claim" and I qoute:

"...best gains of +127 hp, +311 lb-ft torque..."

Sorry for my ,

Perhaps,

I want a torque monster myself, BUT im gonna push the stock clutch to its limit, which is why i want to stick with 700, and what do you mean You were thinkin of your 95? I have the older powerpack system, not the modern one, the one that infidel stated.. But I have for my additions ( as funds roll in...)

3K GSK
# 10 Fuel plate
Ram Air
Injectors*
Clutch*
Straight pipe..

Clutch and injectors to be added much later... think i can get 300/750?

I would imagin. a #11 plate alone on a 215hp pump gives just about 675foot lbs. So if you do a 10 and get 215's or 300's or something for injectors you'll be way up there. 370's and #10 I think you need a turbo for that. and if you have a 5pseed you'll need a con fe clutch or better. I think.

You're truck STOCK has 215 hp, mine has 175.

So Yours with the Banks should have ~40 more hp than mine would.
