Hey guys. I have a w250 1992 4wd 12 valve cummins. Transmission was just rebuilt and motor has been fully serviced. When I am coming to a stop and my truck has the rolling pressure on the driveshaft, there is a horrible vibration through the whole truck. It also happens when I am parking but if I throw the truck in reverse real quick then put it in park, the vibration goes away. Please help!!!

 

Is your truck a club cab? If so I would take a look at the rear driveshaft and its hanger bearing.

So just to make sure I understand, this ONLY happens while idling in gear?
