bad block heater?

Every once and a while the block heater on the truck will blow the breaker. So I was wondering if there is something wrong with the block heater or just step up ot a higher breaker if possible.

Replace the $16 cord. PN # 251919 at any Cummins shop. It is pretty rare the heaters themselves fail.

If you need it fixed tonight replace the male plug.

Most times after a breaker has tripped several times the amperage where it trips gets lower.
Replace the breaker, even the same size breaker will often cure the problem.

Mine trips the RFI outlet constantly. Usually I have to go out and make sure the contacts are dry, any trace of water, and the RFI will pop.
