Auto tranny shift linkage differences?

Auto tranny shift linkage differences?
Just wondering if there are any differences in the linkage that goes from the column to the frame, between 1/2 and 3/4 tons, V6, V8, V10, CTD. Only the torque shaft assembly up to the column. Thanks.
