Auto shift lever stiff

The shift lever on my truck is geting really stiff. It doesnt slide from Park into RNDL very easy at all. Anyone else have any problems with this before? I could use some pointers. Thanks.

look at the shift lever setup below the drivers door under the truck inside the frame rail IIRC..... there are a series of levers/springs that connect to the tranny.... use some good ole PB blaster and soak it good..... or just clean all the dirt away.....

Park is only meant to lock the tranny. Try using the park brake to hold the truck,

I notice if parking on a hill and only using the parking prawl (park gear in trany) it is vert hard to shift out of "P".
