Just got through tabbing my KDP. I took a pic during the process, but didn't look at it until after I was done. Low and behold I see some threads caught up in the bolt used for the tab. I had stuffed a rag in the hole to prevent the bolt or washer from falling in there if I dropped one. Let's say these threads come out and float around in there, will they cause a problem or just eventually get caught in the oil filter? Or do I need to go in there and get them? I can't believe I didn't see them before I closed it up.

 

it shouldn't , it should fall down into the pan and the filter will catch it
