Argh, hard to start again!

Fixed it once before, the hard lines leaked @ the head, where they connected to the injectors. Replaced the lines and all was well. Until last week. It's hard to start again, I can't find a fuel leak, the hard lines don't leak @ the head or the vp. I'm not sure if the LP is losing its prime or if there's a leak inside the head, under the valve cover.

If there is a leak will it make the oil frothy, bubbly? I know if the leak is under the valve cover then diesel cannot be smelled. What clues are there to diesel in the oil?

This is annoying.

You can usually smell the diesel in the oil, but if that is the case the most common place to leak is the injector supply tubes. This would also make since whith having just removing lines, you might have tightened it to much and damaged the supply tube. If you pull the supply tubes off you will see the bad one, it will be full of oil when you pull it. Might even just be a bad O-ring on one of them. If you pull them would be a good idea to change the O-rings just to be sure. In my case one of the rings in mine was leaking so bad I was gaining about a quart of oil on every change (3000 miles).
