I will be leaving the a/c compressor off on this project Q is what belt is it. In a service manual i have it shows the bely routing for the a/c delete but no #, i called a local parts store and they didnt show it. I suppose i could adj. the tensioner to somewhere in the middle and try to get a close measurment but thats the long way around the barn if someone has the proper belt #. Thanks guys

 

Looks like a 4080810 with AC and a 4080652 without. Those are Goodyear Gatorback part numbers, and should be 81" long with AC and 65.2" long without.

I'm running a no A/C belt right now. Routing is a little different, just follow your sticker.

 

Id follow the sticker but this 1/2 ton chevys belt routing was for a 350 chevy, ha ha. Na i found it in a manual, it comes off and goes right to the alt. rather than first going under the water pump like if it had the a/c. Got the belt on and all is good. Thanks guys
