Can you extend AFC housing hose?

I am putting a shut off valve in-line in the hose that people pinch off to disable the wastegate that way i can have it off on or partial. I was curious if it mattered the length of the hose running from the housing to the hard line under the intake. Reason i ask im going to make a loop to allow room for a inline valve and just was wondering before i did this. Right now the hose is maybe 7 inches long i would probly make it 11 inches or so long with the loop.

thanks

Thanks,

Garrett
The screws in your AFC housing are M6x1.0 -20 on the engine side and m6x1.0 -25 on the fender side, the ones that go into the fuel shut-off bracket. You can also buy a set of hex bolts that will fit in there too..

I was told that the small bolts closest to the engine were 6mm x 1.0 x 18 and the longer ones were 6mm x 1.0 x 24.

Might be correct

that reply is from one i got about a year back when i first started to mess with my AFC and plate and so forth. So i just reposted it. I run my assembly without the break off screw and have had no problems with leakage or anything else. Im also missing the 8mm screw that holds the shutdown solenoid from the rear...

I use the size Pete posted. Prefer the allan head type, easy to get at.

That's what I use too, The allen head screws. They work better.
