? About TST Kit

Just wanted to get some feed back on TST Kits from TST Inc. They have a kit for my 1997 Dodge 2500 CTD for $205. Anyone ever used any of there products? They claim to get an additional 70hp and 205 torque. Thanks

I think most of the vendors are buying their plates from TST for resale. I remember reading somewhere that an ex-Cummins engineer designed the fuel plates for TST. What plate (kit) were you looking at for 70Hp? A #10 in a 5-speed truck? You'd be wise to buy a pyrometer to keep track of exhaust temps as increases to fueling can lead to temps high enough to melt pistons. A #10 plate might push your clutch over the limit, but I'm an auto guy and I'm sure the 5-speed guys'll chime in here.

You might want to fill out your signature so everybody knows what you have for a truck, mods, etc. Oh, and welcome to DTR. It's a great place.

Ignore the TST charts and buy a #10. By sliding it fore or aft it will duplicate the next hotter or colder plate but give smoother response than the other plates.

Sorry about the info. I just bought the truck and I am new to diesel engines. I have always had gas engines and know them inside and out. I guess I need a crash course on Diesel. I have a 1997 Dodge 2500 CC LB with an auto tranny and no mod's. It also has 142,00 miles and a 3.73 rear end. Any suggestions on what to get would be great. I don't know what # plate it was. I just saw the package on TST's website. The owner is an ex-cummins employee. Thanks
