Please help! 98 5.9 12v. Changed starter and no start just a click. Put in a push button for the starter, fires right up. BUT now the abs and airbag lights are on, no speedo and fuse to tranny keeps blowing. I know I read somewhere about this but didn't pay attention because at the time it wasn't the problem! Please please help. Our farm depends on this truck and she is my baby!

 

sounds like the ign switch has a problem

 

Would that cause the windows not to roll down also?

 

Have you checked the wiring under the steering wheel tilt mechanism? The tilt steering wheel makes the wiring under the wheel move every time the wheel is tilted and that sometimes messes electrical things up associated with the ignition switch.
