98/98.5 VIN Production Number
Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone knew the production number which split the 98 and 98.5, it seems like a lot of online ads list the vin but don't specify whether it is a 24v or 12v. If I recall correctly the last six numbers are the production numbers which goes in order with production so just wondering if there is a point you can say anything above is a 24v or below is a 12v.
Thanks,

Ok there I go complicating things again, I seen the VIN decoder thing before but didn't think they used the 8th digit consistently for the two motors. Thanks guys.

Actually I just thought of another question if you guys are up for it. I know the 53 started in 98 which means a few of the 12Vers got it. Would it be safe to say the ones made in usa were free of it as this was earlier in the year? Ie, the VINs starting with 1s probably didn't, starting with 3s (mexico) may have it.
