96 47re temp. sender

96 47re temp. sender

To get to the tranny temp. sender in this truck do I have to drop the pan (again)??? Where is it located??

there is no port for the trans temp sender on a 96. You will have to add something on your own or buy the line which has the port from Dodge $$$$$$ or diesel manor has a line which is way cheaper

I already have a sender in the line. I think my temp. sensor (stock) is causing the truck to not let the converter lock. Just wanted to know where it is located.

On the VB if it is internal, front cooler line if it is external. If it is on the front cooler line it will be close to where the line comes out of the trans.
