im in the middle of a 95 engine and trans swap in my 90 1st gen. is there anything besides the od and lockup that the pcm controls? i think that is all that is controlled but i just wanna make sure. another ? is can i use a driveshaft out of a 2wd reg cab lwb '94 to '98? thanks in advance for the replies.

The 94 and 95 are the only two years that the 47RH trans was put in the dodge diesels. OD and Tq Lock are the only two things your have to worry about. I use a taggo switch to control my OD and Tq Lock. I have First gen 12 v with 95 47RH behind 241D transfer case.

 

You should be able to use the drive shaft, but may need to be cut down or lenghten it depending on long or short bed. try to get a extra long one, shorting is a hole lot cheeper.
