hi every one i have been thinking about doing a 5 speed swap and i was wondering since i will have access to a 95 5-speed v 10 would that be a suitable doner truck or would it not work.

 

Yup, v-10 uses the same tranny

 

Since your converting it to a 5speed. Take the back housing off and check the 5th gear and make sure it fell off yet. And if you got the money go ahead and buy the upgraded mainshaft, if not just tighten the nut as much as you can and just tack weld the nut into place
