ok we have a first gen 5 speed and the wiring is messed up on it it will charge sometimes and not. the radio will work when it wants,the lights only work on dim if u switch it to brights they die,and if u have a trailer hooked up when u turned the lights on the trailer brakes would come on but it stopped doing that . somedays everything is fine and others it goes hay wire. does anybody have any idea what it might be. sorry about the bad grammar. any help appreciated

 

Ground's. start at the battery and work back. Check the main connector going through the fire wall for corrosion. Is it externally regulated or is it controlled by the pcm
