92 12 valve

i have a 12 valve cummins it came out of a 92 freightliner fl70 box truck. the oil pan and pickup on the engine are large in the front and flat in the back sort of the opposite of a pickup pan and pickup. would the pan and pickup from a truck engine bolt right in place of this since it basiclly the same motor?

Yes, but you also need the corresponding oil pickup to match. Easy swap though.

the pan on your engine can just be turned around as the bolt pattern is symmetrical. then you only need to get the pick up for the rear sump pan. saves a bunch of $$$$
