5th gear out

i can buy 97 for 1500 5th gear quit and the owner does not want to fix it,what is the cost for parts to repair it.

Shops around here charge $150, if the main shaft is still good, usually is.
Thats parts and labor. $1500, jump on that ASAP!

I'm pretty sure the Ram 1500 & 2500/3500 5spd trannys are different. Seems like the 1500 tranny is a nv3500. Those parts may not work.

uh, his post is a 97 for $1500. not a 1500 1997 ram.
