In a 90' D-250 with the 5.9 Cummins. Can anyone tell me the diameter of the blocker heater element that fits this application? If u know a part number & a price, that would be nice also.

I just replaced my block heater this past weekend. i found one at Genosgarage.com. Luckily i pulled the old one out before ordering because the one i was going to order wasnt the right one. Seems there is a overlap of years on the 5.9. 2 different styles. Found the right one at Oreillys for $65. Works great now.

 

The same heater was used from 1994 - 2010, they just seal in differently.
The genos unit will work in all of them.
