47rh weight?

hey guys,

Dose any one know how much the weight of a 47rh tranny is. I am trying to get one shipped. any info will help. Thanks

killed300ex, You have a 47rh for sale? PM with info on it and cost, and where you are located at? Every one else still looking for the weight of the 47rh tranny.

Its not for sale but I can weigh it tom. I have already promised it to a friend. I am planning on moving it tom so it wont be a big deal to toss it on a scale for you.

Thanks for the info. I figured it couldnt be more than 200lbs. J ust not sure.

I would agree i know it was still fairly heavy for 2 poeple Id say closer to 250-300 lbs

I lifted mine alone, but it was heavy, but not 300. i'd say 225

... depends on which 2 people!

When I used to R&R 650lb combustion chambers in the field, back around '94 an ex-Atlanta Falcon on the job helped me unload the new one from my truck and throw the old one in the dumpster... by hand!

Sometimes size does matter!

p.s. that was the only time I ever got the light end, too...

The shipping wieght on my goerends tranny with tc was 350# in the tote. And yes it felt every bit of it as i was on the end with the tc
