Does anyone know anybody or have any 24V engine blocks for sale? I know Scheid's has a few new ones, but I don't feel like shellin out a couple grand for just a block.

I have a 53 that hasn't cracked but I dont want to build a motor and have to worry about the possibility of a crack happening.

Anyone have any leads on used motors or used blocks, i'd really appreciate it!

Sorry I just realized I posted in the 12 valve section

 

If hasn't craked by now, the probability is remote that it will. Believe someone has a way to measure block thickness at potential area and assess. Perhaps Cummins could guide on matter.
