24V block interchange with 12V block

Hi will a 24V block interchange with a 12V block with no mods

nope ,the spray pattern is different for the injectors/combustion chambers

I think the 12V block had the access and mounting for the lift pump and the 24V does not. Someone can probably confirm that.

Blocks are the same, pistons, cam and heads are what are different

The block it the same? How did they fit the additional pushrods in?

I'm curious about that now. It had never crossed my mind before.

No additional push rods...A common rail has 2 per cylinder also
