Question 160 pump

can you squeeze 300 - 350 cc's of fuel out of one of these pumps and it still be reliable? if so, what would i have to do to flow that much fuel and how much would it cost approximately?

You could add different DV,like 181,191 or lasercuts...Just not sure how much each adds in fuel....Lasercuts for sure would add the most fuel,

Yes..The LC will fuel to the max...I have them on my 175 pump and I had to really thighten up the AFC to hold back some of the fuel...Otherwise I don't mind them....Also a zero plate in the pump would give additional max fuel..

Are you talking about a 1st gen with a 160 VE pump? or a first gen with a swapped in P7100? Or a second truck? it would help if you filled in your signature so we could see what you have.

Before any max fuel i hope you have gauges and know how to read and understand them !

After the BBQ (piston melt) or blown head gasket the lack of gauges will be a very expensive lesson to have missed. Additional air and head studs, and transmission strength are a couple of others you might want to get familiar with as well prior to max fueling.

lazer cuts are a stupid idea

you can get 500cc out of a 160 pump

if you want to get the most out of it take it to a pump shop and have the barrels turned.

Put some .022 delivery valves in if you want more fuel that way, leave the shoulders on the delivery valves, they are there for a reason. Lazer cuts are meant for dedicated pulling trucks where fuel recovery is key and atomization is not...
