i installed 4k governor springs sat afternoon... sat evening i was driving and got on it around 2500 it popped into neutral..[when i installed the tranny i didnt adjust the shift linkage right] it reved to around 3200 and the truck shut off... as i coasted i restarted the truck but it wouldnt rev would only run about 2000rpm about half throttle..... good oil pressure no abnormal engine noise. just spuddered a bit. parked it and the motor is dry no puddles [oil][water] under the truck. i went to start it sunday and it only cranks. checked governor springs there still at correct. pulled valve covers nothing bent. cracked injecters good fuel. will start on starting fluid.. just wont run. any suggestions?

 

40 degrees out of timing! To much rpm! Oh well were advanced now
