12V Performance and Auto Tranny
I just sold my '01 Ram 2500, 5-speed, 4x4 diesel. I am looking at a 1994 12V 2500 4x4 with an auto tranny. The truck seems to be a great truck but is bone stock. I really wanted a 5-speed but the condition of this truck is too nice to pass up.

My question is about performance mods for the 1994 12V with the auto. I kind have been spoiled driving the 24V with EZ and boost elbow. I really liked the power it had and would not need anything more. Is it possible to get this 94 to the same level as the 24V, EZ, and boost elbow? And if so, how and will the stock tranny live????

Any comments would be greatly appreciated..... Thanks,

Re:12V Performance and Auto Tranny
The stock auto won't stand for increased power very long :'(
Go read this ...and the other posts made by BoldtsWagon, he has learned from experience and has explained better than anyone I've found. how the automatic works and how best to modify it and drive it

see my power below. the power mods were cheap or even free. it's under a stock tranny (with a torque converter unlock/stock switch). i turned up the line pressures a while ago, but i can still easily slip the lock up clutch. it works, but you have to know how to drive it (to not slip that tcc-especially towing).
