12V Main/Rod cap torque specs

Going to crush test the main/rod bearings..
Wondering on torque specs for both.

Also what is the oil clearance?

Thanks

Specs for an 01 24v (I know you said 12v, but this should be close) for the rods is a 3 step. 26, then 51, then 73 ft.lbs. Clearance is .0035".

It says the mains are to 130 ft.lbs (doesn't say anything about steps), clearance is .00475". No mention of tolerances on either.

This is from the factory service manual.

I would invest in a repair manual.

I would not get that deep in a rebuild without a stack of manuals. Screwed up rebuilds get expensive quick.
