12 valve question

Good afternoon all,
this is my first time posting on here

the question, I have a 96 3500 RC 12Valve Auto (47RE), mods are pretty simple, I have a 3GSK, #10 fuel plate (slide FWD), a Trans Go Shift kit, and Rev Max stage 3 Torque converter

everything works great, motor runs like a champ, I get a lot of power in 1st and 2nd gear, but once it shifts into 3rd it basically goes no where fast, I can rev the motor to 3000 RPM and 35-40 PSI with no feel in the seat and no speed increase, is this just the nature of the beast ?

I should note that the speed does continue to increase just very very very slowly and with no regard to throttle position or engine speed, this is the first 12v auto I have owned

Good morning everyone, yea the day after I posted this question, she started slipping very badly in third and now it's slightly noticeable (may have been there before) in 1st and 2nd
I'm am on the hunt for an nv4500 or nv5600 conversion
Or preferably a manual truck with a bad motor
