It's really kinda violent. You take the jack tool with the hook on the end, the one that goes in the jack, and put it in a little slot on the edge of the center cap(look for it, it's there). Then you jerk the hell out of it. Pull it straight at you. At leats that's the only way I can get mine off.

Yeah, pulling that center cap off with the jack handle(one with the hook) is always fun, one of these times I will end up going *** over tea kettle. Then prying the main hub cap off is easy with with pry bar, a little pop and a twist its off.

I cut a better notch in the part of the jack handle that is used to pull the center cap off as i was really chewing up the little slot in the cap, i also attached a second piece of the handle to the one with the notch to make it longer so i could get a little better leverage. One time while prying off the outside ring i noticed i hadn't removed the inside cap, but everything came off together anyway, so now thats the way i do it all the time, much easier. It was only a matter of time before i would have ruined the inner cap by destroying the little slot and not being able to get them off at all.

I carry a flat nail bar on the bed of my truck, it works quick and easy. It is there anyway, I use it to pull nails out when I have to chauk pipe that I often haul on my trailer.

If you need 4 hole simulators for your 99 check out eBay. Do a search for "Dodge simu*" or "Dodge liner*". You will get a few hits. 7 hole sims are hard to find used. Some 3rd gens show up sometimes too.
