Starting after cryogenic suspended animation.

What precautionary measures should be taken before starting an 06 cummins 5.9 that has been in an extended (over 2years) hibernation? 50kmiles 4 injectors replaced under factory warranty at 45k.

Check the fluids and make sure everything looks good under the hood and fire it up. Your big concern will probably be the fuel in the tank. I had a JD tractor in my garage with a bad head that was in there 2 years before I got it repaired and the diesel had turned green with algae. It was a sealed plastic tank.

On the tractor I drained the fuel and put fresh in. It may not have algae but I would make sure.
