2 micron spin-on filter with water separator

OK, I picket up a Baldwin Spin-on filter head FB1311 and a Baldwin, BF1212, 4 micron, spin on fuel filter with a water separator, at the heavy duty truck parts store. My question is; where can I get a 2 micron spin on filter with a water separator? Anyone have any comments?

I'm looking for a 2 micron spin-on fuel filter with water separator. If anyone has the Fleetguard numbers for one please let me know. Thank You.

You are a lot better off doing the water separation and 2 micron filtration in two steps.

Don't know of any 2 micron filters with a water separator. Setups like Airdog and FASS have both.
Why not just run a 10 micron in stock fuel filter canister with a remote 2 micron filter before the CP3.

This maybe the way I'll go, with a 2 micron spin-on filter in my remote/no water separator and a 4 micron in my stock canister filter/with water separator. Unless someone can tell me where to get a 2 micron /with water separator.

If you use the long 2 mic fuel filters(I use a 12-13" Wix 33674), all the water should stay in the fuel filter if it's down at the frame rail at a low point in the system.

Since aftermarket 2 micron systems don't usually have a fuel heater, do they cause any issues with jelling/waxing up in the winter?

I,m not sure, good question, I always use a good winter additive all winter (Howes Lubricator).

I'm a little confused. Do you guys still run the OEM 10 micron fuel filter and are adding an additional 2 micron filter?

Correct. Most guys will put the 2-micron filter between the OEM 10-micron filter and the CP3 injection pump.

In my case, I run the PermaCool 2-micron filter/separator before the OEM filter. That's just the way it worked out on my custom system.
