Truck quiter with new vp44
I replaced the vp44 took me almost 2 days mainly because I had never done one before. It was actually pretty easy except for getting the woodruff key in correctly. Anyway the truck is much quiter now. Anyone else experience this.

That awesome.
And dont sweat the time it took either. I always take longer than the average because 1) I have the time, and 2) because taking my time assures less reasons to redo what I should have done right the first time.

I would think that with a new/rebuilt one you will have a smoother truck too.
the fuel distributing out each injectior line and duration will be almost more consistant with each .
dont quote me on that. That is just a answer on top of my head while at work at 0220 in the ER.
I'm in envy.. I need , well dont need yet. would like to put a new VP in mine.
100k miles on it. and yes its not dead but not as effective and powerful as it was new. I have had a less powerful bottom end for a couple years.
