I have just been noticing a weird sound when I give it a little throttle. It is very faint but it sounds like a buzz, or like the cell phone with a one tone ring that is constant, or like a buzz from a gnat in your ear. Like I said it is not loud at all, I can just hear. My wife can hear it too so I know that I am not just going crazy,(or crazier depending on who you talk to).

What do you guys think.

Is the radio on at all when the sound is made?

 

From the discription you give I thought it could be a leak between the turbo and the manifold. Sometimes gaskets or "o" rings buzz when the air blows through or around them. Of course you said "light throttle" which means that there shouldn't be enough pressure differential to produce a sound. When was the last time you inspected the hump hoses?

 

my VE pump buzzes like that when I give it a little throttle and the rpms start to level out

 

No the radio is not on when this happens
