where did you get the triangle looking socket thats made by bosch? did you homebrew it or buy it somewhere?

Craftsman 12 point 13mm socket will fit with a little love tap from a hammer, without any grinding inside the socket.

I know nothing about this company..

Some have cut down a 13-MM socket using a dremel to make an appropriate socket fit.

I am going to have my brother in law try and make me a socket at his machine shop, should be simple to cut 3 points off from a socket using a mill.

THANKS, JIM LANE and thrashingcows.

I can't for the life of me remember what brilliant trick I used when we did the son's pump.

Seeing as how I have my pump stripped down and ready to pull off the engine in the morning, I will use that bent cotter-pin trick.

I may also either buy or machine an actual proper socket.

What would be wrong with grinding a normal HEX on those bolt-heads, once they are out ??
