I just noticed in that pic Papecat posted of the brake pedal...look at the screws holding the lower trim panel on below the steering column. Those are not the correct screws! They should be a black phosphate, cone head style screw that is recessed into the trim piece....not screws with a captured washer on them.
It's these little details that keep jumping out and saying...Something is not quite right!

I see Pretty efficient. as the tire spins it applies the " new car smell" all over the truck. that way it only needs to be applied in one convenient spot. or was that applied by Spot

this truck ya'll were following will be at my house at some point in the near future. I can't wait to get a CLOSE look at it. I have a 90,D250, 5 speed truck with 35K on it and it has been sitting since around 94. Yep it hasn't 'helped' it, the paint was laying in the driveway under where I found it at the original owners house, but knowing what my friend paid for this other low mileage D250 inspires me to get my LOMI(low mileage)done to sell. thankfully the PO had the interior covered . Anyway Joe wants to bring it here for Brandon to tweak it into a 14 sec truck like his other 90 is. Knowing Joe I wouldn't be surprised if he has it painted. Crossy

IDK, when I look at it I see a lot of cosmetic rework to hide its true condition. How do I know? I bought one similar to it. I'm still fixing things.
