BTW the ID tag is long gone off this sucker so dont just tell me to look at it also it is supposed to be off of a '71 Ford 3/4 ton and it has a manufacture date on it in maybe march? of '71 ( i dont remember the exact numbers but it was sometime in '71)

its not a 203 and I dont think its a 205 because the drain and fill plugs are on the side, not on the back, it also does not have the 3 bolt cover on the back as does the 205 pictured on many sites...its also not a Dana300 or dana 20...

its definately not a dana 300, because you would see the dana symbol made into the case, it looks like a divorced NP205 because it has three pinions on the t-case.

I have recently been told it could be a Dana 24, used in Ford 1/2 and 3/4 tons up to '72..... Anyone know anything about these???

Im pretty sure its not a Dana, because i didnt see "DANA" made into the case

NP205 divorsed.

I haven't found any images of the dana 24.

your tcase does look real close to a divorsed NP

at the bottom, the Dana 24 Ford used was married to the transmission.

Should be a divorced Dana 24, although I have not seen one in person. The divorced 205 didn't come into play with the Highboy Fords until '73 or '74.

that ford site does say the dana and the np look REALLY close externally.
