Big Rigs Talk about other Cummins powered vehicles here. As a matter of fact, it doesn't even have to be Cummins, but it will be diesel! :)

after being right there and watching that truck/trailer go over, I am very particular about where i dump loads when using an end dump.

I got to drive this thing from Squamish BC to Okotoks AB a few weeks ago! Sweet unit! Has a 575 HP Cummins, 18 spd Fuller tranny, wide track rear end... Only complaint I had was that the AC didn't work and it was hot that day... Oh well!

Nope, this one's a little older than that. The other truck we have uses the ford industrial 300-6, but this one has a continental flathead str8 6. Very cool sounding little motor. Few more little issues to iron out and she should be ready to go to work. I just swapped the digger from the original 1969 International 4x4 chassis to the military unit in the picture. Other than the bizzare braking setup on the 818, I think it's gonna be a worthy chassis. The military tends to overbuild things

I do some private stuff, but mostly holes for pole barns and fences. More $ for less risk, especially when running older equipment. Pole barn, you're in and out by noon and pocket 800 bucks or so, or at least the truck does, lol!
