R/C Nitro buggy ????
My 10yr old bought one and we finally figured out how to tune it...and man is it fun (even for me) but now the controller is on the fritz. The radio won't communicate with the car and I can't seem to find a replacement radio. For those of you that are experienced with these, where can I get a new controller?
I tried the online co where we bought it but can't get an answer and they aren't answering emails.

What kind is it? If you goto a hobby shop, they should be able to match ya up with somethin, or try www.towerhobbies.com they have quite a selection, and decent prices... did you try fresh batteries? If they start getting low they'll act up sometimes. Or if any water gets into the receiver it'll do it. If ya let it sit a few days and dry, sometimes it will be ok, other times, its fried.

The receiver pack on the car is charged right? Batterys good in the radio? Is it a AM, FM, or 2.4ghz? if it's a 2.4, you may just need to rebind it to the receiver. Check the crystal plugs on the TX and RX if it's a AM or FM. Check the little plug that powers the RX from the battery pack on the car. Did it start this after a bad wreck? From there I have a Traxxas TQ3 radio sitting right here with the micro receiver to match. $25.00 shipped to a DTR member. Lemmee know.
BTW, pulling out of here to go to Branson Thursday, get back to me quick, otherwise I won't be around a pewter till late Sunday night.

New batteries all the way around. Its an off beat buggy called an Excede ordered from Nitrorcx.com and I didn't know if any controller would work. Its a 2 speed. I might get in contact with your link tomorrow and see what they suggest.

Go to http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_472/tt.htm and post your problems, it's the support forum for exceed rc, they seem to have been pretty good at getting warranty parts out for people that have problems, it has an exceed/nitrorcx.com rep that seems to take care of people pretty well.
